What is Privileged Access Management?

Privileged Access Management (PAM) refers to systems that securely manages accounts of users who have elevated permissions to critical, corporate resources. It can be human administrators, devices, applications, and other types of users. PAM is also known as Privileged Session Management or Privileged Account Management.
