Cybersecurity

The practice of protecting systems, networks, applications, and data from digital attacks, unauthorized access, and damage.

What is Cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity is the discipline of defending an organization’s digital assets including computers, servers, mobile devices, networks, and data from threats that seek to compromise, steal, or destroy them. It encompasses a wide range of practices including network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, application security, data encryption, threat detection, and incident response. Effective cybersecurity is not a single product or tool but a layered strategy that addresses people, processes, and technology simultaneously. As threats grow more sophisticated and regulations more demanding, cybersecurity has become a board-level priority for organizations across every industry.
